Super chic and elegant, and in the center of everything South Beach has to offer!

No matter your taste, you’re sure to find something pleasing to your palate on the in-house menu of the Strawberry Moon restaurant & bar.
I had dinner here twice, the ambiance is great, and the service is impeccable!
After a fun day of exploring South Beach, you can take a load off in the comfortable pool area for an amazingly relaxing afternoon if you need to get your feet up (or wet).
Just my luck, I had to admire the lush pool area from inside during my stay, as I hit a low front with lots of rain – but there you go. Next time!
If you have the freedom to choose when to travel, you should know that the weekends here are next-level with some of the world’s top DJs like Pharrell Williams and David Grutman to set the vibe!
And if that is not your thing, from the Goodtime Hotel you are within walking distance to “everything”!
2. Viajero Miami
Well, full transparency, the Viajero Miami is actually kind of a multi-level hotel or hostel, adults only, offering several different experiences in one place. I stayed here in 2022, and I loved it!
You find shared dorms here and at the other end of the scale exquisite private rooms with balconies! Private rooms come with TVs, iPod docks, radios, and AC as well as en suite facilities.
Relax at one of the 3 outdoor decks surrounding each pool or enjoy a meal outside at the on-site restaurant with a poolside bar. And you are 4 minutes from the beach and the Art Deco Welcome Center!
At the Viajero Miami, I found this really cool bar right behind the pool, where the bartender went out of his way to make the pinkest, freshest little cocktail I needed for my afternoon winding down.
The private rooms are delicate, the service is impeccable, and the location is priceless.
Although this is not the over-the-top luxury version, it is a really tasteful option for your South Beach stay!
3. Beacon Hotel South Beach
The Beacon Hotel South Beach is conveniently located across from the picturesque Lummus Park, this gorgeous 1937 art deco hotel in South Beach sits just a two-minute walk away from the Art Deco Welcome Center.
The Beacon’s tasteful rooms boast original marble floors and eccentric art deco furnishings, as well as Wi-Fi, flat screens, and mini-fridges.
The suites also include living room areas for extra comfort and convenience!
Here you feel a calm elegance as you enter the lobby, which is designed with exquisite vintage architectural details and custom furnishings enhancing the original ambiance.
With a 24/7 business center and fitness room, you can stay on top of work and play, while still taking time to relax at the restaurant or cocktail bar for as long as you want!

If you’re looking to throw an event, there’s an underground speakeasy that can be reserved beforehand, and if you feel a bit uptight there are even yoga classes offered regularly!
6. Hotel Breakwater South Beach
Breakwater South Beach is set in the beautiful art deco district of South Beach, on Ocean Drive and only 0.9 miles from upscale Lincoln Road Mall (for you shoppers out there).
“Additional amenities” include a rooftop terrace, an upper-level pool, a 24-hour fitness center (for your 3 am workout), and 2 on-site restaurants.
The pool is a gem of the rooftop terrace at Hotel Breakwater, the infinity pool, and the huge deck at the penthouse level.
