Some of these things you can easily do by yourself (or get a taxi), but there are some top-rated organized tours in Trinidad as well that you might want to check out!
And the best part is that several of them are free! (Well, free in the sense that you get to tip your guide at the end of the tour, with a sum that you feel he or she deserves for the effort!).

When that happened, the city was left behind in the development that happened in other places, and that is the reason the historic center of Trinidad today is like a snapshot of what a Cuban colonial town looked like back in the day!
Regardless of what you decide to spend your time doing in Trinidad, there will be lots of impressions and details and history and architecture and whatnot, that will stay with you when you leave!
